The most commonly used tone capacitors in guitars are 0.022μF for humbuckers, 0.047μF for single coils. Capacitors with a 0.033μF capacity are less common and are used with single coils as well as humbuckers.

 0.001μF capacitors are often uses for treble bleed modifications.
